Each week we like to feature a ride which catches our eye and this time around we were lucky to even see this bike!
This is in-house Hunt engineer, Luisa Grappone's tiny 47cm BMC Team Machine SL03. At the time, Luisa was only able to choose this frame and spec due to it being the only model offered in her size! She was a little disappointed with the bright yellow color scheme but it has since grown on her and now like's its "bee" like colorway - even more incentive to buzz up the climbs around Vincenza.
Unable to carry a full-size water bottle on the downtube holder, Luisa's BMC is her main ride for weekend rides as well as commuting efforts to and from Hunt HQ. With an Ultegra Groupset and a set of prototype wheels which are now the current Hunt 36Carbon Wide Aero wheels, this road machine is a perfect match for any road riding Luisa does around the south of England.
As a rider who is partial to climbing, Luisa's set up is great for her rides on the continent which often feature a fair bit of climbing. You can check out Luis's Northern Italian climbing route here...
