“AIRSHOT” – the easy way to inflate tubeless road bike, cyclocross and mountain bike tyres
Airshot has been developed to enable hassle free inflation of tubeless road bike, cyclocross and mountain bike tyres without the need for a compressor.
At Hunt wheels we are huge advocates of tubeless road bike tyre technology and the advantages it provides such as enhanced grip, a reduced chance of punctures and lower rolling resistance. We are also advocates of making the tubeless fitting process nice and easy meaning we have more energy for bike riding so are great fans of the Airshot.
Airshot, gives you the ability to charge an air bottle quickly and easily using a normal track pump. Then, by simply applying the pump head to the valve on your wheel and releasing the air tap, a fast high volume shot of air is released to instantly mount the tyre onto the bead.
This is an ideal solution for the home or car park mechanic fitting tubeless tyres, normally fast pumping on your track pump to initially seat the tyre bead and start the inflation of tubeless tyre. This can be also be done with an air compressor but not many of us own them so the AirShot is a simple, mobile, low cost alternative.
