<h1>Weight</h1><i>Mountain bikers aren't concerned about weight, right? Nope! Whether you're doing a back-country epic or pedalling between stages, we have paid attention to weight to suit the type of riding they will be subjected too. For example, using the highest quality Pillar triple butted spokes with PSR (Pillar Spoke Re-enforcement) has allowed us to not only create a stronger wheel with a higher spoke count, but one which does not add a weight penalty.</i>

<h1>Nipples</h1><i>We have chosen top of the line, triple butted Pillar Spokes with increased reinforcement at the spoke head. Not only are these spokes extremely lightweight, they are also able to provide a greater degree of elasticity when put under increased stress. The Pillar Spoke Reinforcement (PSR) puts more material at the spoke head, just before the J-Bend to prevent failure in this stress area.</i>

The TrailWide hubs have been chosen to increase stiffness, bearing durability and overall strength of your wheelset. On the rear, the RapidEngage MTB hubs with a superfast 3 degree engagement, means you will be able to put the power down straight out of the corners.</i>

A super low engagement of 3° means you will be able to put the power down straight out of the corners and not have any lag when jumping up those techy climbs.

Maximum tire pressure for this rim is 60psi when used with an inner tube and 50psi when running the wheel set-up tubeless. Please do not exceed the maximum pressure stated on your tire.

All HUNT wheels models have to pass our harsh rolling-drum fatigue tests for rider weight limits, please see here for more details. 264lbs is the upper recommended rider weight limit for these wheels. Please include the weight of any luggage in your total rider weight when choosing the correct wheels. If a rider is over 240lbs then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly and it is advisable to use tires at max 40psi as this will reduce the fatigue on the wheelset.
